How do you get started? The initial undertaking can sometimes seem overwhelming — that’s why we’ve broken down the steps you’ll need to take to become a Fazoli’s franchisee and join our growing family!
The Initial Start-Up Investment
Owning a Fazoli’s franchise is a serious, but rewarding commitment. In order to take the first steps towards owning a franchise, you must have:
- An investment capability of at least $750,000 per unit
- The ability to invest a minimum of 20-percent of the total project costs
- Liquidity of at least $250,000 per unit
Becoming a Fazoli’s Franchisee in 7 Steps
- If you’re interested in owning a Fazoli’s franchise, get started by filling out an application online!
- Step two is on us! We’ll review your application and schedule a conference call for a time that works for you.
- After the call, we’ll send you a Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and decision-making checklist.
- Once you’ve completed both documents, we’ll contact you again to discuss your FDD and decision-making checklist and answer any questions you may have. We’ll also schedule a time to have a face-to-face meeting.
- You’ll be given the opportunity to visit a Fazoli’s location, get an in-depth understanding of how the day-to-day operations run, and meet with that location’s management team.
- After your visit, you’ll be asked to complete your business plan and send it to Fazoli’s for a final review.
- If Fazoli’s approval committee approves your application, you’ll be invited to Fazoli’s orientation! While there, you’ll be asked to:
- Sign the franchise agreement
- Pay the $30,000 fee per location
- Discuss a pre-opening timeline
- Schedule your initial training
