Don’t let customer comments go unnoticed, even those that may not be so flattering. Look at customer complaints as an opportunity to grow your business. If one customer has had a particular experience, chances are there are others who have felt similarly. Learning from that one customer’s comment can help you improve your business for many more.
Tip #3: Use social media to connect with your audience.
In today’s digital age, if you’re not active on social media does your business really exist to the customer? Some might argue no. Any digital marketing expert will tell you that current and potential customers love to see businesses that own their social media presence and interact with their followers. Aside from being a great place to share company news and stay up-to-date on what’s going on in the industry, being on sites like Facebook and Yelp also allow business owners the unique opportunity to be present where more customer comments and reviews are being made.
Tip #4: Revolve your business around the customer.
No matter which way you slice it, your customers are the bread and butter of your business. Without their loyalty, your business would never succeed. That’s why you should always be thinking about the customer in every decision you make. Consider how new changes will affect them, for better or for worse.
