Introducing Fazoli’s Q1 First All-American Team for 2017
The results are in, and our first quarter All-Stars have been chosen! So, without further ado, please allow us to announce your Fazoli’s first All-American Team winners!
The best of the best, the cream of the crop — our Fazoli’s Q1 All-American Team members are nothing short of fantastic! After receiving a total of 60 impressive employee nominations, we were then tasked with the difficult decision of narrowing it down to just 10 winners in total, with only five of those making the first team. In the end, here are the members of the Fazoli’s family who made the cut:
Corina Jones - Alton, IL
Corina has been with Fazoli’s since July 2016. During her time as an associate, she’s been cross-trained on all four store positions, participated in helping refer employees to grow the business and is always baking goodies to keep the team’s spirits high! In the words of her general manager, Patty Blackwell, “she embodies the hard work and dedication that has made this country and this company great!”
Isaiah Redmond - Bridgeton, MO
As an associate trainer, Isaiah has proven his dedication to Fazoli’s by always giving one-hundred-percent in every aspect of his job. According to his general manager, Emily Beishir, “he’s always early to his shifts, ready to work and in his correct uniform,” and he “is always in an outstanding mood with [a] very positive outlook on all situations.” All that being said, it’s no wonder he was named Employee of the month this past November, just five months after joining the team in June of 2016.
Brooklyn Sisk - Clarksville, TN
“Brooklyn is the type of employee you wish you had more of,” says Jessica Stanley, Brooklyn’s general manager. Her positive attitude is infectious, which is just one of the reasons she’s adored by guests and teammates alike. In her two-year tenure as a Fazoli’s associate, Brooklyn has been named Employee of the Month twice and has been cross-trained on every position within the restaurant.
Laurie Snyder - Bellevue, NE
Laurie is an inspiration in more ways than one. Not only is she a model employee and a positive role model all around, but she’s also a three-time breast cancer survivor and the definition of a fighter. With almost two years tenure, Laurie has been a positive influence on both staff and guests alike, earning so many pins for guest compliments that she can’t possibly display them all on her uniform at once!
Samantha Stuart - Walker, MI
Coming up on two years, Sammie has been cross-trained in all areas of the restaurant and earned the title of certified trainer in 2016. She has referred two top-notch employees to the Fazoli’s team and has excelled as a natural leader, training new employees and keeping morale high. “Her sweet, friendly personality is a great contribution to our restaurant atmosphere and her excellent service is noticed by both guests and associates,” said General Manager, Stephanie Eilers. She was even honored for her all-star accomplishments by Fox 17 West Michigan, during one of their recent news segments.
Besides bragging rights and a round of applause for a job well done, each member of the first team also received a letter from Fazoli’s President and CEO, Carl Howard, a certificate of achievement, $250 in prize money, a Fazoli’s All-American pin to commemorate their elite status, a Pursuit of Excellence Spotlight at www.fazolis.com/allamerican and a special Fazoli’s uniform t-shirt to be worn for the remainder of the quarter.
Stay tuned for our next blog post, highlighting the five-second team winners, and be on the lookout for applications for the next round of all-stars. All Q2 nominations will be accepted during the month of May.
