Carl Howard Kicks-Off Fazoli’s Menu Overhaul in the Dayton-Springfield Area
Have you heard the news? Fazoli’s 3.0 is coming to a local restaurant near you — and if you’re in the Dayton-Springfield, Ohio area, it might be sooner than you think!
Late last month, Fazoli’s president and CEO, Carl Howard headed down to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio to spread the news of Fazoli’s major menu overhaul. On April 3, we officially announced that Fazoli’s would be cutting ties from all artificial sweeteners, flavors, and preservatives in all 122 company-owned restaurants nationwide by June 19 of this year. Being that we operate a total of seven restaurants in the Dayton-Springfield area, and that the location is so close to our fearless leader’s heart, we knew it was the perfect place to start our revamp!
As of now, the newly overhauled menu has already been put in place in the Dayton area, as well as the Lexington, Kentucky area, where Fazoli’s headquarters calls home.
“We eliminated more than 80 artificial ingredients from 61 different menu items,” said Carl, when asked about the Fazoli’s 3.0 initiative. “Every step along the way, we’ve improved the food… We’re on the cusp of great things.”
